Bachelor of Arts in Psychology – Criminal Justice Program
The Criminal Justice program at CBU is designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the criminal justice system and a fundamental knowledge of social science and behavioral science. It focuses on topics such as criminology, law enforcement, corrections, public administration, juvenile justice and counseling.
A criminal psychology degree can help prepare you for positions in the criminal justice system and corporate security. Upon completion of your degree, you may choose to pursue positions at the local, state and federal level. Many graduates choose to continue their education and pursue advanced degrees in psychology, law or other social science disciplines.
In addition to the general education and professional psychology requirements, earning a criminal psychology degree requires completion of the following courses:
- Public Administration
- Criminal Justice
- Criminal Law
- Corrections or Policing
- Juvenile Justice
