Core Values

The mission of the Campus Ministry at Christian Brothers University is prepare students for lives of moral responsibility and constructive community involvement.  To that end, Campus Ministry at CBU fosters the faith of all students and offers pastoral care to the community by:

  • Developing and supporting an active faith community
  • Fostering spiritual enrichment by supporting dialogue, harmony, and interpersonal relationships between students, faculty, and staff
  • Helping students to integrate faith and life experiences
  • Encouraging students through community, outreach, and service

College "Search" Retreat

  • This is a weekend retreat experience at John Kyle State Park in Sardis, Mississippi with students from CBU, Memphis, Rhodes, UT Health Sciences Center, and other colleges/universities throughout Tennessee.

Bible Study Groups

  • Bible Reflection - student led on Monday evenings at 5:00 pm in St. Joseph Chapel in Barry Hall
  • Bible Reflection facilitated by Joe Fong and Wilson Phillips- Thursday at 7:00 in Stritch Lounge

Some CBU students continue their service activities beyond graduation by becoming Lasallian Volunteers.
