
The 2013 Commencement Exercises will be held on Saturday, May 11 on campus at Signaigo Field, beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m. All students should report to Canale Arena by 7:30 a.m. and guests should report to Signaigo Field no later than 8:30 a.m.
Commencement Exercises will be streamed LIVE on Saturday morning, giving families and friends of graduating seniors an opportunity to watch the event ONLINE.

Graduating students are required to attend this event. Graduates may attend one of the two sessions (Noon - 1:30 p.m. & 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.). The average time to complete required materials is about 30 minutes. Photographers will take cap and gown (loaned for the shoot) photos of graduating students at the Grad Fair. There is no sitting fee and no obligation to purchase. Proofs will be emailed to students within 48 hours of the sitting.
All graduates in the Class of 2013 are invited to join the CBU Alumni Association for a Happy Hour at Rozier Deck for good food, music and beer!

The Presidential Student Recognition will begin at 10 a.m. Parents and CBU faculty/staff are invited to attend.
The dinner will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Invitations will be issued to legacy students and their parents to join us for a relaxing dinner before the Baccalaureate Service.

Located at 1695 Central Avenue, Memphis TN 38104, the Cathedral will be the site of the Baccalaureate Service, which commences at 7:00 p.m. Students will meet at the Cathedral by 6:30 p.m. (Undergraduates: Wear Regalia only, Graduate students: Regalia and Hood. Please do not bring your cap.) A reception for graduates and guests will be held following the Baccalaureate Service in Marion Hall. Families will have the chance to take photos with their graduates.
Ruby R. Wharton, attorney and First Lady of the City of Memphis, is the keynote speaker and the 2013 recipient of the Bishop Carroll T. Dozier Award for Peace and Justice. A reception for graduates and guests will be held following the Baccalaureate Service in Marion Hall. Families will have the chance to take photos with their graduates.

The ceremony begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. During the ceremony, the University will award an Honorary Doctor of Public Service to Mayors Mark H. Luttrell and A C Wharton Jr. in recognition of their lifelong commitment to the citizens of Memphis and Shelby County. Reception to follow in the Buckman Quadrangle.
