Programs & Services

Special Study Sessions For Commuters: Designated study areas and light refreshments are available for commuters during mid-term and final exam week. Locations will be announced at a later date.

Commuter Breakfast: Commuter Student Breakfasts will take place the first Wednesday in each month, from 8:30 am-10:00 am, between the Nolan Engineering Building and the Science Center, adjacent to the Central Parking Lot. Students will be served donuts, muffins, orange juice/apple juice and coffee.

Commuter Newsletter: The Commuter Student Newsletter called “The Commuter Connection”, is a quarterly publication, emailed to all commuter students, and which keeps commuters abreast of important dates and programs currently scheduled on campus.

Buccaneer Snack Bar: Student can enjoy lunch and/or dinner in the Buccaneer, located on the ground floor of the Thomas Center. Computers are also available for students to use between classes.

Lockers: Students can obtain access to one of the campus lockers, located on the ground floor of Kendrick Hall. Lockers can be obtained through the Dean of Students, by e-mailing

Commuter Meal Deal: A special meal plan is available for commuters through the ARA Food Services, located on the second floor of the Thomas Center. Contact the Director of Food Services at for specific guidelines and costs for this semester's plan.

Student Lounge: Students can relax in the Rozier Lounge, located on the ground floor of Rozier Hall. Billiards tables, foosball, and ping-pong are available in the lounge, as well as a large screen television and drink/snack machines. The lounge also has multiple couches and tables, giving students plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Commuter Fair:  The Commuter Student Fair is scheduled on an annual basis. The purpose of the fair is to afford commuters an opportunity to become familiar with services from individual departments campus wide. Representatives from these various departments will set up booths and provides students with information about their particular services.
