Welcome Weekend

Welcome Weekend is an opportunity for the Christian Brothers University community to officially say “Welcome!” to freshmen and their families.  We hope that you are just as excited to be at CBU as we are to have you! As you embark on this new experience as a Buc, we hope that your first few days on campus set the stage for your college career.  College is a time for new beginnings and new friendships and an exciting time of growth, opportunities, and challenges. Welcome Weekend builds on Orientation and is CBU's way of continuing to connect you and your parents to the University and to assure your smooth transition to life here at CBU.

Welcome Weekend is for both residential and commuter students and is an integral part of the First Year Experience.  All first-year freshmen are required to attend, and parents are strongly encouraged to join their students. You’ll have an opportunity to learn more about campus, give back to the community, enjoy activities and start building lifelong friendships.  Upper classmen will be welcomed back to campus on Saturday, August 17th.  Help us kick off the start of a great year at BucFest, which will feature great activities, food, music and general revelry!
