CBU Gallery to Feature MACA

Work from the Memphis Association of Craft Artists Memphis — The Beverly & Sam Ross Gallery at Christian Brothers University (CBU) is proud to feature the works of the Memphis Association of Craft Artists (MACA) February 29 - April 3.  The MACA will be showing various types of crafts from the beginner to the most accomplished. An opening reception will be held on Friday, February 29 in the gallery on the lower level of Plough Memorial Library, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The MACA is the local chapter of the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists, a non-profit statewide organization dedicated to the promotion and the preservation of fine craft in Tennessee. MACA covers Shelby, Fayette, Lauderdale, and Tipton counties.  Membership is open to all artisans (except painters) from the beginner to the most accomplished.  Members have the opportunity to participate in meetings, workshops, exhibitions and sales events, and community activities. Hours at the Beverly & Sam Ross Gallery are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 2:00-11:00 p.m. Hours may vary due to University schedules.
