Sara Hall Continues “Power Talks for Women” Series at CBU

Sara L. HallSara L. Hall, Vice President and General Counsel for the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA), will be the featured speaker for the “Power Talks for Women” series at Christian Brothers University (CBU) on Thursday, April 24. Her topic, “Knowing Yourself/Making Your Way: The Importance of Knowing Who You Are and What You Really See Professionally and Personally as You Navigate Your Career,” will be presented in Spain Auditorium on the CBU campus at 7:00 p.m.

Hall is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the University of North Carolina School of Law. A product of the public school system and a nurturing environment from a farm in East Tennessee, she exhibits wisdom, a competitive spirit and innovative ideas that propel her to succeed as a leader, wife and mother.

Prior to her position with MSCAA, Hall served as City Attorney and Director of the Law Division for the City of Memphis, a position which included oversight of intergovernmental relations, claims, risk management and contract compliance. She also served as Director of Human Resources and Benefits Administrator for the City of Memphis, and attorney for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She was a presenter at the 2008 DRI Civil Rights and Governmental Tort Liability Seminar; 2007 Honorary Co-Chairman of the Volunteer Memphis Visit to St Nicholas; Memphis Business Journal 2006 Top Forty Under 40; 2005 Tennessee Bar Foundation Fellow; and a Memphis/Shelby County Bar Foundation Fellow in 2005. She served on the Association of Women Attorneys Board of Directors, 1997-2002; Memphis Business Group on Health, 2001-2007, and as President, 2003-2006; and the Nationwide National Retirement Education Institute Panel. Hall is a 2004 graduate of the Leadership Academy and has served on its Board since 2005. She also served on the Board of Volunteer Memphis, 2003-2005.
