Memphis – Returning to Christian Brothers University (CBU) eleven years after his graduation, Dr. Patrick Wilson has been named the dean of the Graduate and Professional Studies program. Wilson will lead the marketing, recruitment and retention for evening undergraduate programs and graduate programs at the University. He will also have responsibility for the financial planning and administrative operations.
Wilson is ready to return to the CBU campus, though he feels as if he never truly left. “Over the decade that has elapsed since I was a student, I’ve always fondly remembered the CBU community,” states Wilson. “The chance to be a part of the growth of this institution at this point in time is too great an opportunity to pass up.” As dean, he hopes above all to continue to “offer the high quality and value” that is part of CBU’s reputation.
Wilson returns to CBU from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where was associate dean. He previously taught and developed online and classroom courses while part of the faculty of the School of Professional Studies at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He served as the vice president of FirstBank in Colorado and as a senior financial analyst at First Tennessee Bank. Wilson received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from CBU in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration from Regis University. He recently received his Doctor of Education from Pepperdine University. ###
