CBU Announces Fall Concert Series

Christian Brothers University (CBU) is proud to announce its 2008 Fall Concert Series. Tommy Gaines, Assistant Professor of Music, will conduct the concerts which include his students and the CB Singers. Mark your calendar to attend these entertaining musical events as they are sure to make the fall a musical memory.

Friday, October 3, 2008 – 7:30 p.m. – University Theater on the CBU Campus
“Broadway on Parkway”
CBU students will bring Broadway to the Parkway campus during this night of show tunes from classic musicals.

Saturday, November 15, 2008 – 1:30 p.m. – Spain Auditorium on the CBU Campus
“Memphis Chapter NATS Student Competition Finals”
The National Association of Teachers of Singing student competition is an opportunity to see the Memphis area talent compete.
This competition is free and open to the public.

Friday, December 5, 2008- 7:30 p.m. – Spain Auditorium on the CBU Campus
“An Evening of Recital”

This magical evening of voice and piano includes the students of Tommy Gaines and Sharon Momany.

Friday, December 12, 2008- 7:30 p.m. – University Theater on the CBU Campus
“A Fall & Holiday Concert”
Join the CB Singers, the University’s premier singing group, as they continue their tradition of beginning the holiday season with a concert of lively holiday music.
