Recently, Davenport co-authored the sequel, Are We There Yet? She has been published in numerous professional magazines and journals, and is a keynote speaker and featured presenter at conferences across the country.

Davenport holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Southwest Texas University, and a masters’ degree in education from the University of Houston.

The M.L Seidman Memorial Town Hall Series was established by Mr. and Mrs. P.K. Seidman in memory of Mr. M.L. Seidman, founder of an international accounting firm who maintained an active interest in public issues.

A series of lectures is scheduled each year in which recognized authorities on current public issues are presented in a town hall forum. In each series, opposing points of view on the public issue are developed and the active participation of students, faculty and members of the Memphis community is encouraged. The lecture series is in its 41st year.

Davenport’s lecture is free and open to the public. Reservations are recommended. For more information or to RSVP for the M.L. Seidman Town Hall Lecture Series at Christian Brothers University, call the CBU Advancement Office at (901) 321-3270, or emailrsvp@cbu.edu. ###
