CBU Alpha Chi Chapter Inducts 34

The Christian Brothers University (CBU) Tennessee Theta chapter of Alpha Chi inducted 34 new members on November 15, 2009. These students are among the top 10% of their classes.

All four schools, Arts, Business, Engineering and Sciences, are represented by the 34 juniors and seniors. In addition, the inductees include both day and evening students. The inductees are: Ashley Bailey, Stephanie Bowman, Mary Cerniway, Chase de Saint-Felix, Leigh Hill, Dale Hobbs, Anna Swearengen, Kevin Boes, Melba Borum, Barbara Frier, Kim Lewis, Heather Tamargo, James Bowen, Osborn DeLima, Rance Killen, Edwin Kirkpatrick, Binh Nguyen, Phuc Phan, Russel Saliendra, Caitlin Ashley, Jennifer Cobb, Cheryl Clausel, Mary Jane Dickey and Natalie Hart.

Alpha Chi is an interdisciplinary honor society, admitting students from all academic disciplines that are among the top 10% of that institution’s juniors, seniors and graduate students. Membership is by invitation only and occurs in the fall semester based on previous spring semester grades. There are 300 chapters nationwide and more than 11, 000 members are inducted annually.
