CBU Names Schlimmer VP for Enrollment Management

Jim SchlimmerMemphis- Jim Schlimmer has been appointed as the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Christian Brothers University (CBU). In this newly created position, Schlimmer is the senior executive responsible for overseeing enrollment growth and retention.

Enrollment Management is not new for Schlimmer. With 28 years of experience at the senior level, he brings a broad-based action-oriented perspective to enrollment issues. Schlimmer’s experience has included direct responsibility for admissions recruiting, admissions publications, and electronic contact with prospects, retention data base development and financial aid pricing. Most recently, he was Director of Admissions for Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. Prior to this position, Schlimmer served as chief enrollment officer at Louisburg College (NC), Luther College (IA), High Point University (NC) and Westmar College (IA).

Schlimmer earned his Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Luther College and a Master of Science in Education from The University of North Carolina Greensboro.
