CBU Wins National Marketing Awards

Memphis— Christian Brothers University (CBU) has been selected as a winner in the Twenty-Sixth Annual Educational Advertising Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report.

CBU won Gold for its billboards “Distinguish Yourself” in the category of Outdoor Transit/Billboard. The University also won a Merit award in the category of Brochure Graduate for the “CMBA Brochure.” Both materials are targeted to the graduate and professional studies (adult) market.

Winners are selected for programs and materials that display exceptional quality, creativity and message effectiveness. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, over 2,500 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

Seventeen schools were recognized by the judges as a “Best of Show” winner. Gold awards were granted to 214 schools and silver awards were given to 189 schools. Judges for the Admissions Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of admissions’ marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report.
