MEMPHIS — Christian Brothers University will offer information sessions for transfer students Monday-Thursday, March 17-20 at 5:30-6:30 p.m. each day. The sessions are open to any student who wants information about transferring to CBU, but special attention will be available for students affected by the closing of Victory University.
“CBU has always been welcoming to transfers, whether it’s because a student simply changes his or her mind or because they’ve found themselves in a difficult situation—such as the closure of Victory,” says Toni Ross, dean of CBU’s College of Adult Professional Studies. “We are very concerned about these students whose educational careers have been potentially interrupted. We really want to help, and we’ll do what we can to make sure they can continue to pursue their college degrees.”
CBU offers more than 50 undergraduate degree tracks or academic concentrations in liberal arts, business, engineering, and science in both a traditional full-time day program and in hybrid/online evening classes for working adults.
The transfer information sessions will be held in Buckman Hall on the CBU campus. Interested students should bring a copy of their current college transcript in order to facilitate calculation of transfer credits. For more information on the sessions, students may call (901) 321-3291 or visit www.cbu.edu/transferinfo.
