The Alumni Association works to keep your relationship with CBU strong and spirited from the moment you graduate. Connect with us today!

Your experience at the university is an essential part of who you are and you will always be a part of the CBU family. We never stop thinking about what you need and want from CBU, and about how we can serve you. We work to help you stay in touch with and meet others in the CBU family to support your work and enrich your life. However you’d like to stay involved with the university after graduation, the Alumni Association is here to assist you — and connect you.

You may not have realized it at the time, but your affiliation with the Alumni Association began when you received your acceptance letter from the Admissions Office. That day you didn’t just become a CBU student, you also joined a diverse, spiritual, and intellectual community. We do our very best to support you in sustaining and growing all of those meaningful relationships that you established at CBU.

Together, we are CBU. And we’re stronger because of YOU.

Buccaneers: The Legacy of CBU

We are excited to announce that we partnered with Publishing Concept LP (PCI) to create an Oral History of Christian Brothers University publication. This project is an opportunity to gather stories and memories that bring the CBU experience to life and unite alumni across generations. What memory will you share?

As you walk down memory lane, consider these ideas:

  • What made you choose CBU?
  • Did a CBU professor or staff member profoundly impact your life?
  • Have CBU connections developed into lifelong friendships?
  • How has CBU impacted your career success, relationships, and/or life after graduation?
  • Were you on campus during a historic moment?
  • Are there multiple CBU graduates in your family?
  • Did you play a sport or join a fraternity, sorority, or club?

How It Works

You will receive a postcard in the mail. Please respond by calling the phone number provided.

  • Once connected with a PCI representative, they will collect and update your official CBU alumni record as needed.
  • The PCI representative will ask you to share a CBU story that will be recorded and transcribed for inclusion in the CBU Oral History Project publication.
  • You will have the opportunity to purchase a hardbound book or digital copy of the publication and exclusive CBU apparel.
  • If PCI does not hear from you after mailing a postcard, you may receive emails and/or phone calls requesting your participation

We will share more information about this project soon. We look forward to hearing your story!
