Natural Science
By studying the fundamentals of physical, biological, and mathematical sciences, you will gain an understanding of the scientific concepts required to explain the natural world.
You can earn two degrees through CBU’s agreements with professional schools. After completing three to three-and-a-half years of undergraduate study, you can apply for admission to a professional school or master’s program. When you complete the programs, you will receive a degree from the professional school or master’s program and the BS in Natural Science from CBU.
Another plus for this program is CBU’s five-year option, (in conjunction with the CBU Department of Education), in which you can finish your Natural Science degree, your Master of Arts in Teaching degree, and your teacher licensure preparation in just one extra year.

What You’ll Study
The major requires 122 credit hours. You’ll take CBU general education and liberal arts courses, School of Sciences Support Requirements, plus courses in:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Natural Science
- Physics
Related Minor
The Public Health (Science Option) minor requires 36 credit hours in biology, chemistry, sociology, and special topics.
