Gadomski School of Engineering (MSEM & MSCIS)

  • Resume/CV
  • One of the following proofs of English proficiency:
    • Official IELTS; 6.0 or higher
    • Official TOEFL; 75 or higher
    • Official PTE; 55 or higher
    • Official Duolingo; 110 or higher

School of Business (MBA)

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience or leadership; Statement of purpose
  • One of the following proofs of English proficiency:

International Graduate Admissions Application Deadline: Spring – November 15, Summer – April 15, Fall – June 15 (Deadlines are subject to change based seat availability.)

I-20 Requirements

The I-20 is a multi-purpose document issued by a U.S. government-approved educational institution. It certifies that a student has been admitted to a full-time study program and has demonstrated sufficient financial resources to stay in the United States. We understand navigating this process can be overwhelming, so our graduate admissions counselors are here to help you every step of the way. 

 I-20 will be issued upon acceptance to the University, payment of Enrollment Deposit (see Deposit), and receipt of the following:

  • Copy of passport
  • Certificate of Financial Support: Complete one of the following forms:
  • Bank Statement/Certificate (less than 4 months old, showing a minimum of funds based on CBU Affidavit of Sponsorship)
  • CBU Affidavit of Sponsorship (less than 4 months old; if sponsor is funding education)

Deposit$550 Enrollment Deposit

SEVIS Information: CBU will provide this via email directly to the student.

International students who graduated from CBU in May 2024 and were approved for Optional Practical Training, a federal program that allows international students to legally work in the United States post-graduation, had a 96.6% job placement rate. The top starting salary was $137,000.
