If you want to succeed in the world of banking, a minor or concentration in the field can equip you with the analytical tools and problem-solving skills you need.
With a minor or a concentration in the field within the BSBA program at CBU, you’ll have the resources and expertise of two schools behind you: CBU’s School of Business and the Barret School of Banking, which is housed on the university’s campus. Barret’s faculty, including nationally known speakers, successful professionals, and leaders in the field, teach many of the program’s courses. They all bring their extensive firsthand experience in career paths right to you in the classroom. The minor is also an option for students who want to explore this professional field in addition to others.
What You’ll Study
The minor in requires 18-19 credit hours, and the concentration requires 15-16 credit hours. Courses in the program cover topics such as:

- Capital markets and institutions
- Commercial banking
