Welcome Weekend

Every year, CBU says “Welcome!” to its new students with a weekend of activities.

August 17-20, 2024

The Division of Student Flourishing can’t wait to kick off the 2024-2025 academic year! All students are invited to attend Welcome Weekend 2024 on Saturday, August 17 – Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

This is an opportunity for the CBU community to officially greet the Class of 2027 and to invite returning students back for a new year. We hope that you are just as excited to be at CBU as we are to have you!

Welcome Weekend is for both residential and commuter students and is an integral part of the First Year Experience. All first-year freshmen are required to attend. You’ll have an opportunity to learn more about campus, give back to the community, enjoy activities, and start building lifelong friendships.

• First Year and new residential students will move onto campus, Saturday, August 17, 2024. Specific housing and move-in procedures will be announced in early July.
• First Year commuter students should plan to join the community on Sunday, August 18, 2024 and plan to attend events throughout the entire weekend.
• Upperclassmen will be welcomed back to campus on Monday, August 19, 2024.
