The Harpswell Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission to empower a new generation of women leaders in Cambodia and the developing world. The Leadership Resident will live in a dormitory in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, for 4-8 months, teaching in-house classes and engaging the university students in leadership building projects. The Leadership Resident will also spend informal time with the students, helping them understand more about the world outside Cambodia.
Applicants must be: CBU students, or recent graduates, female, native English speakers, or very fluent in English with excellent accent. Candidates must have a commitment to empowering women and be able to live in Cambodia for 4-8 months during the summer. Ideal candidates are seniors or recent graduates with international travel experience, curiosity, a commitment to the LaSallian principles of social justice, and a warm and friendly personality.
