Past Presidents
Since its founding in 1871, Christian Brothers University has been served by 24 full-term Presidents (several earlier Presidents served more than one non-consecutive terms). All past Presidents were members of the De La Salle Christian Brothers teaching order from 1871 to 2009, when Dr. John Smarrelli was appointed the first lay President.
