The McLaughlin Social Justice Institute of Lasallian Practice (MSJI) is a one-week intensive academic, community, and field experience program hosted at Christian Brothers University where participants will dig deeper into the seven
themes of Catholic Social Teaching by way of their engagement with other educators from Lasallian Ministries. Input, sharing of pertinent papal encyclicals, USCCB pastoral letters, discussions, and sharing of best practices will be coupled with presentations from leading experts in law and medicine and trips throughout the Memphis community.

The next session – July 5th-July 10th– will engage adult participants from Lasallian Ministries from around the United States in an exciting opportunity to immerse oneself in further understanding some of the most critical issues of our day, such as generational poverty and
homelessness, food scarcity, challenges faced by immigrants, and inequity in healthcare to name a few.
