Accreditation
Accreditation assures that a program has met quality standards set by the profession. To employers and graduate schools, graduation from an accredited program signifies adequate preparation for entry into the profession. As a result, many of these groups require graduation from an accredited program as a minimum qualification.
ABET accreditation is assurance that a college or university program meets the quality standards established by the profession for which it prepares its students. The following undergraduate engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
