Medicine or Veterinary Medicine with St. George’s University
Christian Brothers University has an agreement with St. George’s University to offer qualified students the opportunity to pursue a career in medicine or veterinary medicine at St. George’s University, following successful graduation with a degree in a pre-approved pre-medicine or pre-veterinary medicine program from CBU, allowing the students to obtain the BS/MD or BS/DVM degree.
4+4 Early Assurance Pathway
Secure a Seat in Medical or Veterinary Medicine School at St. George’s University
In the 4+4 Program established by this Agreement, students will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Science at CBU. After successfully completing the four-year premedical or pre-veterinary medicine curriculum at CBU, and having met all prerequisite coursework for entry into SGU’s School of Medicine or SGU’s School of Veterinary Medicine, students will continue into medical or veterinary school at St. George’s University.
Students can apply to this program either when they apply to CBU or while enrolled as current students at CBU. Acceptance into the program does not create a binding commitment to attend SGU. Students are free to apply to other schools and may choose to attend a different institution if accepted elsewhere.
