Application Checklist
CBU welcomes applications from students who are not only academically successful but also committed to making an impact on the world around them. This application checklist will help you navigate the process and make sure that your application is noticed.
Admission to CBU is competitive. Each application is reviewed based on grade point average and standardized test scores.
For the greatest admission and scholarship consideration, please apply by our Priority Preference Deadline:
- November 1, with notification on November 15
Standardized Tests
To be considered for admission, applicants may choose to submit test scores from the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). These scores are optional; however, some programs require a minimum score to be submitted; further, all students will be placed in general education courses based on either these test scores or a placement test score.
Advanced Credit Policies
If you have participated in Advanced Placement (AP) exams or International Baccalaureate (IB) exams, you may be eligible for college credit. You can take a look at the exam equivalencies with the Registrar’s Office.
Scholarships
Christian Brothers University offers academic scholarships and awards to new students when they apply for admission. Other financial aid may be available as well.
