Career & Internship Expo
Additional Details
Students and recent grads, now is the time to register for this year’s Career & Internship Expo!
More than 70 employers will be participating who are looking to hire CBU students and alumni for full-time jobs, part-time jobs, summer jobs, internships, co-ops, and more. Thinking about Grad School? There are a few graduate programs attending as well. Since this year’s event is being hosted virtually, advanced registration and session sign-up is required. So don’t wait until the last minute… group sessions do have a maximum capacity, and may fill up. Don’t miss out on these opportunities. (Alumni… if you don’t have a Handshake account yet, sign up for one here! A CBU email address is not required for alumni to create an account.) |
Check the Handshake Career Fair Platform to sign up and view an up-to-date list of companies that have already registered, including the majors/class level many are seeking… more to come!
Advanced registration and session sign up is REQUIRED for this event.
STEP 1: Register For The Event: Follow this link and click the “Register” button in the upper right corner
STEP 2: Then select the sessions you want to attend with each employer in the “Available Sessions” tab. (Employers may be offering group sessions, one-on-one sessions, or both.)
NOTE: Make sure you select company sessions in advance; don’t wait until the day of the event. Session may fill up, or become “locked” if you wait too long.
- Check your Handshake account frequently between now and the start of the event, as more employers schedule their group/individual sessions (or add additional sessions).
On the day of the event:
- Return to your Handshake account; the video link for each of your scheduled sessions (as well as a “test video” link) should become active about 10 minutes before each session is scheduled to start.
- Remember, even though this year’s event is virtual, you should still prepare as you would for an in-person event….dress professionally, research companies in advance, and have good questions prepared.
- If you have not yet loaded a resume into your Handshake account, be sure to do so prior to the event.
Here’s a little more info about some of the companies participating in the event… each of them will have either “group” sessions or “1-on-1” sessions (or both) available to choose from throughout the event.
Remember, the information provided below is not all-inclusive. Employers may be seeking additional candidates in additional majors/areas. If the company interests you, sign up for one of their sessions to learn more!
You can get more details on each of these companies/organizations, and ALL of the employers who will be participating in this event, in your Handshake account.
