The English for Corporate Communications (ECC) program, housed in the Department of Literature and Languages, prepares students to think critically and intentionally about the way they communicate in the world.
During this event, students will learn about the unique and flexible aspects of the ECC Program, including
- The major in English for Corporate Communications fosters students’ critical analysis of communication and encourages the production of written and multimodal texts in a variety of professional contexts
- The Professional Writing Certificate is a 4-course credential perfect for students across the university who want to develop and showcase their writing and communication skills
- Internship opportunities: curated for students wanting to make a difference in their local communities. Amy Ware, Director of Career Services, will be available to talk about various opportunities available to ECC students
- Future professional development events hosted by the ECC Program
This event is open to all majors and is highly encouraged for students interested in communications careers (including law school and graduate study). Join us and gain the knowledge needed to help you make intentional decisions about your degree!
