17th Annual Last Lecture — Professor Andrew Morgret

Professor Andrew Morgret, Associate Professor Emeritus of Accounting in the School of Business, has been selected by the CBU Honors Student Board to deliver the 17th Annual Last Lecture on Thursday, April 11 at 12:30 pm in Spain Auditorium. The annual Last Lecture event asks a faculty speaker to “reflect deeply on what matters to them while creating an opportunity to share their reflections with the broader CBU community.” Professor Morgret is an ideal choice for this honor. With a well-deserved reputation for fostering new students through their transition to college life and the field of accounting, he has been part of the CBU faculty since 2009, teaching CBU 101 as well as Accounting. He has been a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the AICPA Memphis Chapter Scholarship Committee, and the TSCPA Accounting Career Education Committee.
