Distinguished Young Alumnus Award
Established in 1988, the Distinguished Young Alumnus Award publicly honors alumni who are 35 years old or younger for their outstanding personal and career achievements and contributions to society that are a credit to the University. These awards are given only in years when a deserving recipient is identified.

Distinguished Young Alumnus Award Qualifications
The Distinguished Young Alumnus award recognizes a graduate of Christian Brothers University who has achieved a notable level of success in life, made significant contributions to his or her profession, supported the efforts of CBU, and contributed to society through public service or church activities.
Eligibility
To be eligible, a person must be a graduate of Christian Brothers University with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and must be 35 years old or younger. Unless there is a compelling reason to merit an exception, only one award will be given each year.

Simply include the name of the award, the name of the person you would like to nominate, and describe why the individual should be considered. Supporting materials such as a resume or newspaper/magazine articles citing the nominee’s accomplishments will be valuable in the committee’s evaluation of credentials and thus enhance your nominee’s candidacy.
