CBU Workshop Series: Career Transitions
Thursday, January 30 • 6:00 – 8:00 pm • Montesi Executive Center
Join the Alumni Office and Career Services for the next workshop in our series focused on the skills and knowledge needed for career transitions. Cathy Lantrip (’06) from CBU’s Career Services department will be leading this workshop and covering a variety of topics, including resume edits, interview tips, transferrable skills, and Q&A. The workshop will occur on Thursday, January 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Montesi Classroom in Buckman. RSVP by January 27 to secure your spot, as there is limited capacity.

Calling all Bucs! On Saturday, February 8th, you’re invited to the Alumni Homecoming starting at 2:00 pm. Come cheer on your Buccaneers in Canale Arena’s Skybox as they play Delta State University. Your $10 ticket includes food, drinks, and the best seat in the house! The Lady Bucs tip off at 1:00 pm, and the Bucs start at 3:00 pm. Come root for the Lady Bucs at 5:00 pm and the Bucs at 7:30 pm as they take on the Lee University Flames. This is the start of a series of athletic events sponsored by First South Financial. ACADEMIC CONVOCATION

The Office of Academic Affairs hosted the 2024 Academic Convocation. CBU faculty and the Class of 2028 gathered in the University Theater on September 5 to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year.
The Teaching Excellence Award, presented by the National Alumni Board, was awarded to Dr. Bevalee Vitali for her outstanding service to the University. Pastor Bartholomew Orr (’91) was the Alumni Guest Speaker.
All CBU Alumni were invited to join us at Academic Convocation and a Meet and Greet with Brother Chris immediately following.
VIRTUAL TOWN HALL

Joe Birch (’78), Action News 5 Anchor, hosted a virtual CBU Town Hall with Interim President Brother Chris Englert and the CBU Executive Team. Joe facilitated the Town Hall and the Q&A portion as Brother Chris and members of the Executive Team provided updates.
Those watching the Town Hall were able to participate by submitting comments and questions!
