Lisa Manning

Lisa Manning has served CBU’s Admissions Office since 2019, focusing on Admissions Communications until February 2022 when she was asked to take the role of Director of Admissions. Prior to coming to CBU, Lisa had been an English teacher for 25 years. She loves to read and attend church, theatrical events, and concerts, but supporting her family’s own varied musical interests tops the list of activities outside work. Every Memphian has a favorite BBQ joint, and hers is the BBQ Shop. Her favorite time of year, despite the allergies, is springtime, specifically when the cherry trees are in full bloom on Cherry Road. About CBU, Lisa says, “I fell in love with this university the minute I stepped on campus. It’s the people, the vision, the excellence — family. This is where I’m at home.”
