Nursing
Whether you’re a first-time college student or already working as a registered nurse, the Nursing Program at Christian Brothers University has options to help you take the next steps in your nursing career.
Traditional Nursing
Our new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program welcomes students who will be new to college as well as transfer students who are ready to jump in to more advanced coursework. Nurses are more in demand than ever, and we’re here to help prepare you for this exciting profession.
The BSN program is a two-year program designed to be completed in the junior and senior years, after completion of two years of pre-nursing and general educational requirement coursework. True to the service-learning culture that defines CBU’s heritage, students in the traditional BSN program will have options for clinicals throughout the Memphis community as well as study-abroad learning choices. Many of the clinical experiences will provide opportunities for rotations with expert preceptors to ensure a personalized clinical experience.
After program completion, you will be eligible to apply to the State Board of Nursing for RN licensure. CBU’s nursing program does not guarantee licensure; all graduates of the program must pass the NCLEX licensing exam.
