Christian Brothers University’s Career Services recently hosted its Career & Internship Expo, providing students with direct access to employers from a variety of industries. The event, held on campus, attracted over 200 students eager to network, exchange resumes, and explore job and internship opportunities.

This semester’s expo featured 65 organizations, including major employers such as FedEx, Orgill, BlueOval, UTHSC, Baptist Memorial Healthcare, Pickering, Turner Construction, ABB, and MLGW. While engineering and computer science firms made up a significant portion of attendees, students from other disciplines, including the arts, also found valuable opportunities.
At many tables, recruiters encouraged students to scan QR codes to apply for open positions, while some students secured interviews on the spot. Participating employers expressed interest in recruiting more CBU students in the future.

Amy Ware, CBU’s Assistant Vice President of External Relations and Career Services, emphasized the importance of these events in bridging the gap between students and potential employers. “Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to directly connect with employers to secure a job or internship,” Ware said.
With another successful expo in the books, Career Services continues its mission to prepare students for life after CBU, ensuring they have the connections needed to launch their careers.
