Senate

The Senate is the legislative branch of the Student Government Association, with members from each academic school at CBU.

Responsibilities of the Senators are outlined in the SGA Constitution.

Senators must meet with the Deans of their respective schools on a regular monthly basis to discuss the relationship of the University and the student body, and how to address any concerns brought forth by students.

• Each school of Senators will be required to perform a monthly report outlining the concerns presented and how they can be addressed.
• Senators serve as liaisons between the SGA and students from their respective colleges. Regular communication between the senator and their peers is required.
• Members of the Senate attend and support SGA events.
